The Arizona Diamondbacks went for it all when trading for Curt Schilling in 2000, pairing him with Randy Johnson as the MLB’s best pitching duo. Schilling went 22–6 with a 2.98 ERA in 2001, leading the majors in wins and innings pitched. In the playoffs that same season, Schilling went 4–0 with a 1.12 ERA. In the 2001 World Series, the Diamondbacks beat the New York Yankees in seven games and Schilling shared the World Series MVP Award with Johnson. On the front left tail is a “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached are three flag tags that read, “SET 1 2001”, “50” and “1 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”. Across the chest reads, “ARIZONA” in teal on white on metallic gold on black tackle twill. The player number “38” appears on the front and across the back reads the player name, “SCHILLING”. These are done in metallic gold on white tackle twill. The player number “38” appears on the back in metallic gold on teal on white triple tackle twill. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. On the left sleeve is an embroidered patch that reads, “ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS” and below is a teal Rawlings logo embroidered. Schilling signed below the back player number “8” in silver pen and in our opinion, rates a 6 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
