Eddie Mathews was a 12 time all-star and was elected into the Hall Of Fame in 1978. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “42”, the jersey measures bigger, and also attached are washing instructions. Below handwritten in black marker is “MATHEWS”. On the left sleeve is an Astros team patch sewn on. Across the chest reads “ASTROS” in navy blue on orange felt. Above is the official Astros shooting star logo in orange and blue felt. Across the back is player number “11” in blue on orange felt with some fabric loss on both of the numbers. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
