A 12-time All-Star, New York Mets legend and arguably the best hitting catcher of all time, Mike Piazza was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016. Piazza has his No. 31 retired by the Mets franchise and has the record for most home runs as a catcher. On the inside of the rear right tail is a “AIS” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached below is a size “50” tag. Across the chest reads, “NEW YORK”, the player number “31” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “PIAZZA”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange on black triple tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the team’s, “Mets” logo disc patch embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
