The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cleveland Browns to win their second NFL Championship and their first in Los Angeles. The 1951 NFL Championship was also the State of California's first major professional championship and the Rams' only title while in Southern California. “Wilson” manufactured Bert Bell “THORP SPORTING GOODS INC.” white football. Below the “THORP” stamp reads, “National Football League American Conference National Conference”. On the adjacent panel reads, “THE DUKE”. There are over 35 signatures done in green pen and in our opinion, rate a 6-7 overall. Some signatures include: Norm Van Brocklin, Vitamin Smith, Glenn Davis, Joe Reid, Jack Zilly, Stan West, Bob Boyd, Dick Daugherty, Dick Hoerner, Larry Brink, Marvin Johnson, Herb Rich and others. The football is in NRMNT condition and it is accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
