On January 9th, 2009 the Chicago Blackhawks played the Detroit Red Wings at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL. The Blackhawks wore sweaters which were a mix of their 1936–37 sweaters and their 1937–38 sweaters, with the design from 1936–37 and the chest crest from 1937–38. On the inside of the rear tail is a MeiGrayGroup tag that reads, “NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2008-2009 Season F05085”. On the left inseam is a “Reebok” materials tag with washing instructions, and on the inside the fight strap is included. On the inside below the rear collar is a “CCM” size “56” manufacturer’s tag. On the v-neck is the official “NHL” shield logo embroidered and on the right chest is an embroidered patch that reads, “2009 Winter Classic WRIGLEY FIELD”. On the front of the jersey is a team logo disc patch embroidered that reads, “BLACKHAWKS CHICAGO”. The team logo is done in tan, black, white, green, red and blue stitching on white felt. The player number “46” appears on the back and on each sleeve in black on white on red triple tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “FRASER” in white tackle twill on a black mesh nameplate. Above the player name is a Reebok logo patch embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Chicago Blackhawks LOA signed by equipment manager Troy Parchman, which states this jersey was worn during the first period. Also accompanied by an additional LOA with a photo of the game.
