Hakeem Olajuwon earned his second straight NBA Finals MVP award during the 1995 championship series against the Orlando Magic. Olajuwon averaged 32.8 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game against another dominant center in NBA history, Shaquille O’Neal. The Houston Rockets were the first team to win an NBA championship as a No. 6 seed. Olajuwon was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008 and has his No. 34 retired by the Houston Rockets. On the front left tail is a “Champion” distributor’s tag that reads, “DESIGNED & TAILORED 94-95 EXCLUSIVELY FOR HOUSTON ROCKETS BODY LENGTH +4”. Adjacent is a “Champion” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On the left inseam is a tag that reads, “100% POLYESTER” with pen markings on it. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. There is a small stain on the right chest. Across the chest reads, “Rockets”, the player number “34” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “OLAJUWON”. All numbering and lettering is done in red tackle twill sewn directly onto the white mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
