There are only two players in NBA history that have more championships than Satch Sanders, and those two players were Sanders’ teammates Bill Russell and Sam Jones. Sanders earned eight championships with the dominant 1960s Boston Celtics dynasty, has his No. 16 retired by the team and was enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. On the inside of the left tail is a “Horace Partridge” size “48” manufacturer’s tag. Across the chest reads “BOSTON” and on the back is the player number “16”. These are both done in white satin directly onto the green shooting shirt. There is a repair on the right sleeve and the back exhibits thinning of the fabric with two small holes. This shooting shirt is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
