Late 1950s Detroit Lions Game-Used Durene Home Jersey Attributed To Joe Schmidt (Repairs)

On the inside of the front center tail is a “Rawlings” size “50” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a “Lippman’s DETROIT” distributor’s tag and a tag with washing instructions. Crotch piece intact. Inside below the rear collar is a blue swatch with the letter “H” embroidered on it in white chain-stitching. The player number “56” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve in white tackle twill which have all been changed vintage twill. It appears that this was period done and that it very well may have been instituted by the team. There are repairs throughout the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
