On September 21, 1997 Brett Favre threw five touchdowns in a 38-32 victory against the Minnesota Vikings. Favre’s second touchdown pass of the game, caught by wide receiver Antonio Freeman, broke Bart Starr’s Green Bay Packers franchise record for touchdown passes. It was Favre’s 153rd in a Packer uniform, as the torch was passed between two all-time greats. This “Wilson” manufactured official NFL game ball was used during this contest. Favre signed the ball in silver pen with the added inscription, “153 TDS” and in our opinion, rates a 9 overall. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and a NFL LOA that states, “Wilson NFL football was used at Lambeau Field during the regular season game played by the Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings September 21, 1997. - This game ball was prepared and marked for the game by the officials present for the game played on September 21, 1997. The football was 1 of 26 used on the field by the Packers and the Vikings.”
