Roman Gabriel was a two-time ACC Player of the Year for the North Carolina State Wolfpack and was an All-American in 1960 and 1961. Gabriel’s No. 18 is retired by North Carolina State and he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1989. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On this tag, a flag tag that reads, “LONG” is sewn on below the jersey size. On the right inseam is PSA/DNA sticker “H76931”. The player number “18” appears on both the front and on the back in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the red durene jersey. Gabriel signed the jersey on the front and back player number “8” with the back player number having the added inscription, “GO WOLFPACK”. In our opinion, the autographs rate a 7 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA and COA from JSA, a PSA/DNA COA, an LOA from Gabriel and an additional LOA.
