Walter Johnson’s personal ticket stub to Game 4 of the 1927 World Series, which was the completion of a four games to zero sweep by the New York Yankees of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The ticket reads, “MEZZANINE BOX 169 - MEZZANINE Front Box - Price$6.00 Tax .60 - Total $6.60 - YANKEE 1927 STADIUM - WORLD’S CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES - American League vs National League - GAME 4.” Ticket is in EX condition. Accompanied by an LOA from William Kent Feddeman, who was friends with Walter Johnson’s grandson, Hank Thomas. Feddeman states that he purchased the ticket from Thomas, who received the ticket in scrapbooks that were handed down after the passing of Johnson’s wife.
