The 1927 National League MVP won the NL batting title three times, was a four-time All-Star and has his No. 11 retired by the Pittsburgh Pirates franchise. Manuf: H&B, Model Number: Side-written “1-22-29”, Length: 36.75 in., Weight: 34.2 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: 1925-28, Condition: Cracked on the handle. Checking on the back barrel. A piece of the back barrel is missing from the checking. Repairs: Checking nailed. Ball/hit marks are visible on all sides of the barrel. Tape on the handle has been removed, three-ring pattern. This bat exhibits evidence of heavy game-use with excellent overall player use attributes. On the barrel end is PSA/DNA sticker “1B11612”. Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA.
