Frank Chance was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946. Chance was part of back-to-back World Series championship teams and led the National League in stolen bases twice. Manuf: Spalding, Model Number: Gold Medal, Length: 34 in., Weight: 41.5 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: 1908-11, Condition: Uncracked. Some checking is visible on the back barrel. Ball/hit marks are visible on the right, left and back barrel. The top barrel has been trimmed and there is a small chip on the knob. There are what looks like cleat marks on the left and right barrel. Lathe marks are visible on the knob, which indicates the bat was hand-turned. This bat exhibits evidence of heavy game-use and has identifiable player-use characteristics. On the barrel end is PSA/DNA sticker “H53548”. Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA and an additional LOA.
