George Foster's best season with the New York Mets was in 1983, where he hit 28 home runs and had 90 RBI. On the inside of the jersey below the rear collar is a “Rawlings” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1983”. Below is a strip tag with “15 83 1” embroidered on it. Across the chest reads, “Mets, the player number “15” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name “FOSTER”. All numbering and lettering are done in blue on orange tackle twill. The player name is sewn onto a white nameplate while the other numbering and lettering is sewn directly onto the white pinstriped jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
