Inside on the rear sweatband is a “NEW ERA” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is the MLB Authentic tag and a New Era size “7 ¼” tag with washing instructions. On the underside of the bill is the player number “18” written in black pen. The underside of the bill, the sweatband and the front logo have staining. On the front of the cap is the team’s “NY” logo embroidered in white stitching. On the back is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. On the left side of the cap is a “World Series 98” patch embroidered which we believe was added at a later date as this cap is sans "39" re: Darryl Strawberry who was battling colon cancer at the time. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use.
