John Elway is the only player in NFL history to pass for more than 3,000 yards and rush for more than 200 yards in the same season seven consecutive times. He was only the second quarterback in NFL history to record more than 40,000 yards passing and 3,000 yards rushing during his career. At the time of his retirement, he ranked second all-time in three of the game’s most significant passing categories: passing yards, attempts, and completions. Elway was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004. On the front left tail is the “NIKE” manufacturer’s tag with flag tags size “46” and “LONG”. On the right inseam is the wash instructions tag. Below the inner rear collar is a white strip tag reading “96-46” in black. On the v-neck is the official “NFL” shield logo embroidered in red, white and blue. Across the front, on back and on each sleeve is the player number “7”. Across the back is the player name “ELWAY” on an orange nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in the same white on blue tackle twill. On each sleeve is the Nike “Swoosh” logo embroidered in blue. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from Bill's Sports Collectibles In Denver Colorado which states "This jersey was obtained from a member of the Broncos organization".
