This football was used on December 8, 1974 as the Miami Dolphins defeated the Baltimore Colts on the road by a score of 17-16. “Wilson” manufactured football. Stamped on the ball is “Official NFL”, “National Football League - American Football Conference - National Football Conference” and NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle’s facsimile signature. On the laces reads the date “12 8 74”. The ball has been signed in black ballpoint pen by 43 members of the 1974 Miami Dolphins. Notable signatures include Hall of Famers Bob Griese (1974 Pro Bowler), Larry Little (1974 Pro Bowler & First Team All-Pro), Jim Langer (1974 Pro Bowler & First Team All-Pro), Nick Buoniconti (1974 Pro Bowler) with the added inscription “85”, Larry Csonka (1974 Pro Bowler), Paul Warfield (1974 Pro Bowler) with the added inscription “To Bobby Best Wishes” and Head Coach Don Shula.
