“Wilson” manufactured vintage leather football. Stamped into the ball is “CHICAGO BEARS 1963 WORLD CHAMPIONS”. The ball has been signed by 32 members of the 1963 World Champion Chicago Bears and 6 players from the 1964 Chicago Bears (most likely signed at training camp before the 1964 season). Notable signatures include Hall of Famers George Halas (Head Coach/Owner), Paddy Driscoll (Assistant Coach), George Allen (Defensive Coordinator), Bill George, Stan Jones, Doug Atkins and Mike Ditka. Additional signatures include: Billy Martin, J.C. Caroline, Ted Karras, Herman Lee, Rosey Taylor, John Johnson (x2), Joe Fortunato, Mike Pyle, Ronnie Bull, Richie Petitbon, Bennie McRae, Billy Wade, Larry Morris (1963 NFL Championship Game MVP), Joe Marconi, Johnny Morris, Rick Casares, Bob Wetoska, Bob Kilcullen, Bobby Joe Green, Ed O’Bradovich, Roger LeCerc, Dave Whitsell, Chuck Mather (Assistant Coach), Jim Dooley (Assistant Coach) and Phil Handler (Assistant Coach). Signatures from the 1964 team include Billy Martin, Jon Arnett, Gary Barnes, Rich Kreitling, Dick Evey and Mike Rabold. All signatures are done in a variety of different inks and markers and in our opinion rate a strong 8 overall. Also included in the lot is a “1964 WORLD CHAMPION CHICAGO BEARS” program and a game film reel from the 1963 season. The football and program are in NM condition and the game film is in VG condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
