“Riddell” manufactured “VSR-4” helmet. To the left of the left ear hole is a large player number “39” decal. Adjacent above and below the left ear hole is the size “XL” decal along with two “NOCSAE” recertification decals from 2008, a “Riddell Inc. 04-08” sticker and a warning label. “SCHUTT” manufactured grey facemask with code “CJH”. The white rubber bumper reads “Riddell” in red and blue, the two clear “SCHUTT” clips both read “1 08”. No chinstrap is present. On the back of the helmet is the player number “39” in white. Adjacent to the left is the official “NFL” shield decal. Adjacent above is the black circle decal with the initials “GU” and number “63” to commemorate the passing of Hall of Famer Gene Upshaw, former executive director of the National Football League Players' Association (NFLPA). An American flag decal is present as well as an injury warning decal. The player number “39” is also present on the front of the helmet in white decals. The Giants “NY” logo appears on the left and right sides of the helmet in white decals. The helmet is properly labeled, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use with scuffing on the outer dome some transfer marks and some deep scratches.
