“Riddell” manufactured “VSR-3” helmet. Adjacent to the right of the left ear hole is an “All American XL” decal. Adjacent above is a “WARNING” decal. Adjacent to the left is a “NOCSAE” recertification decal from 1997 on top of the remnants of a 1996 sticker. Adjacent above the right ear hole is another “WARNING” decal. Adjacent to the left is “60/X” written in black marker. “SCHUTT” manufactured white facemask with code “DIF”. The white plastic bumper reads “Riddell” in red, the two facemask clips read “35” and “94”. White “Riddell” chinstrap is present. On the back of the helmet is the official “NFL” shield decal along with an injury warning decal. The backplate of the helmet reads “BILLS” in blue. The Buffalo “BILL” logo appears on the left and right sides of the helmet in blue, red, and white. Washington has signed the helmet in black marker with the added inscription “92”, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. The helmet is properly labeled, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use with some gashes and scuffing to the outer dome. We were told by our consignor that this helmet was obtained from Merton Hanks, current NFL Vice President of Operations. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
