Offered here is a set of 25 replica rings with a nearly identical design to the Balfour-manufactured rings that were presented to the players that were named a Top 50 All-Time player in 1996. Each non-gold ring weighs approximately 52 grams. The 25 players represented here are: Paul Arizin, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, Bob Cousy, Billy Cunningham, Dave DeBusschere, Walt Frazier, Elvin Hayes, George Gervin, Hal Greer, Sam Jones, Jerry Lucas, Pete Maravich, George Mikan, Bob Pettit, Willis Reed, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, Dolph Schayes, Bill Sharman, Nate Thurmond, Wes Unseld, Jerry West, Lenny Wilkens and James Worthy. The top panel of each ring reads “NBA GREATEST PLAYERS” surrounding a silver-like basketball with “50” in relief. The left panel of each ring features the player name above the NBA 50th Anniversary logo and the player number below. The right panel of each ring reads “1946” and “1996” with the official NBA logo in the center. The inside of each ring is stamped “LGB SAMPLE”. Each ring is housed in its own wooden presentation box measuring 8” x 6” x 2-½”. Each ring box has an oval-shaped acrylic window that has been laser-engraved with the “NBA 50” logo and the player’s name. The rings are all in MINT condition except the Mikan which has a small dent on the left panel.
