On the inner rear collar of the jersey is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “42” and wash instructions. Adjacent to the right is a baby blue strip tag with “ELIA” embroidered in red. On the left chest is the Phillies “P” logo. On the right chest and on back is the player number “4”. Across the back is the player name “ELIA” on a baby blue nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in the same maroon on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “PHILADELPHIA phillies” patch embroidered in red, blue and green on white tackle twill. On the right sleeve reads “Rawlings” embroidered in maroon. On the inner rear waistband of the pants is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “34” and wash instructions. Adjacent to the right is a white strip tag with “3 34 27 87” embroidered in maroon with an “X” in black marker through the “3” and a flag tag “SET 1 1987”. Adjacent above is “ELIM” written in black marker. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as manager-worn and in our opinion shows wear. Accompanied by a LOA from Lee Elia on Phillies letterhead stating that it was sold at an auction held by Phillies Wives to raise money "to strikeout ALS, which is more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease."
