On the front left tail of the jersey is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent below is a white strip tag with size “48”. On the left inseam is the “100% NYLON” tag with wash instructions. Across the front reads “MARINERS” in metallic silver sparkle on navy blue on northwest green tackle twill. Adjacent above the “M” is the “Navigation Star” in a baseball done in metallic silver, northwest green and red on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “SEATTLE MARINERS” logo patch embroidered in silver sparkle, navy blue, northwest green, red and white. On the right sleeve is the “Majestic” logo embroidered in red, white and blue. Across the back is the player name “GRIFFEY” on a navy blue mesh nameplate. Adjacent below is the player number “24”. Both are done in the same silver sparkle on northwest green tackle twill. Griffey has signed the “2” on the back of the jersey in blue marker, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. On the inner rear sweatband of the cap is the “New Era” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent to the right is the “100% WOOL” and “SIZE 7-1/8“ tag. On the underside of the brim is the player number “24” written in black marker. On the front of the cap is the Seattle “S” logo embroidered in silver sparkle, northwest green, navy blue, red and white. On the back is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in navy blue, northwest green and white. Griffey has signed the brim of the cap with the added inscription “97”, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. The jersey and cap are properly tagged, were presented to us as worn and in our opinion show wear.
