On the right sleeve is umpire number “44” in red on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the navy blue collared shirt. Inside the rear collar is a “Hathaway” manufacturer’s tag. Above is a strip tag with materials and washing instructions. Adjacent, “20 SS TALL” is stamped. On the left chest is a “NATIONAL LEAGUE” patch on the pocket. On the right sleeve, the number “10” is done in navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a "J.M. NL UMPIRE 10" patch from 1996 for John McSherry, who collapsed and died on the opening day of the baseball season in Cincinnati. Below is a “Starter” logo embroidered.
