Approximately 27” x 13.5” 3-D oil painting of one of the most infamous plays in World Series history. The 3-D painting depicts the “It Gets By Buckner” scene from Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. Boston Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner let a slowly hit ground ball, hit by Mets outfielder Mookie Wilson, go through his legs, thus allowing the Mets to score the winning run. The painting has been signed by both Bill Buckner and Mookie Wilson in black marker, in our opinion the signatures rate a near perfect 10 overall. The piece is in EX condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
