“SPALDING” manufactured “Official League” baseball. Inscribed on the ball is “GIANTS 1952” in black ink. The ball has been signed by 24 members of the 1952 New York Giants. Notable signatures include Hall of Famers Leo Durocher (ss, stamped)(Manager) and Monte Irvin (1952 All-Star). Additional signatures include: Larry Jansen, Dave Koslo, Clint Hartung, Max Lanier, Bob Elliott, Mario Picone, Ray Katt, Monte Kennedy, Sal Magile (1952 All-Star), Whitey Lockman (1952 All-Star), Jack Harshman, Hank Thompson, Davey Williams, Alvin Dark (1952 All-Star), Jim “Dusty” Rhodes, Don Meuller, Bobby Thomson (1952 All-Star), George Spencer and Bobby Hofman. All signatures are done in the same blue ink, in our opinion the signatures rate an 8 overall. The ball is in NM condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
