In 1996, Gail Goodrich cemented his place in basketball history when he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. In 1963-64, Goodrich and John Wooden lead the UCLA Bruins to a perfect 30-0 record and a NCAA Championship. At the next level, Goodrich was the leading scorer (25.9 ppg) on one of the greatest teams in NBA history, the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers. Centered on the front tail is the “Tiernan” manufacturer’s tag. Across the front reads “LAKERS” in gold on white tackle twill. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “25” in white on gold tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “GOODRICH” in gold on white tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
