Gary Payton was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. On the front left tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with size “44”, wash instructions and a flag tag reading “+2 LENGTH”. Adjacent to the left is another “Champion” tag reading “DESIGNED & TAILORED BY Champion EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE SEATTLE SONICS” with flag tag “1999-2000”. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag. On the right chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered in red, white and blue. Across the front reads “SONICS” in white on yellow tackle twill with a gold and green embroidered basketball above the “I”. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “20”. Across the back is the player name “PAYTON”. Both are done in white on yellow on green tackle twill. Payton has signed the “0” on the back of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “#20”, in our opinion the signature rates an 8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and an 8-1/2” x 11” color photo of Payton wearing the same style jersey.
