David Thompson was a one-time ABA All-Star, four-time NBA All-Star, 1976 ABA Rookie of the Year, two-time All-Star Game MVP and was enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 1996. On the front left tail of the jersey is the “POWERS” manufacturer’s tag with “2”LB”. On the left inseam is a blank tag. Across the front reads “Nuggets”. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “33”. All are done in the same royal blue on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “THOMPSON” in royal blue tackle twill on a white mesh nameplate. On the right shoulder strap is a black and green armband in memory of the Atlanta child killings. Thompson has signed the front of the jersey in blue marker, in our opinion the signature rates a strong 7. On the inner rear waistband of the shorts is an indecipherable tag. Adjacent to the left is another tag reading “GARMENT AMERICA”. On the sides of each leg is the Denver logo embroidered in red, blue and white on yellow tackle twill. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
