The Rangers all-time great defenseman, Brad Park, was considered one of the best in his era along with Bruins defenseman Bobby Orr. Park was a 9-time All-Star whose scoring presence he made known. He was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988, in his first year of eligibility. Below the inner collar is the “GERRY cosby” distributor’s tag with wash instructions. Adjacent to the right is a white strip tag with size “48” in blue. Across the front, below the laced collar in a stair step design, reads “RANGERS”. Across the back and on each sleeve is the player number “2”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same red on white tackle twill. On the left chest are the remnants of the assistant captain “A” patch along with the 50th Anniversary patch that replaced it the following year. Across the back is the outline of a nameplate, with multiple team repairs, that once carried Park’s surname, suggesting the jersey was repurposed after Park’s departure early in the 1975-76 season. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from Joe Tomon.
