Nine handwritten pages from one of the most dangerous American criminals of the 20th Century, Charles Manson. Written in black ballpoint pen, the failed musician and murderer writes the letter in response to Mark Strickland, an unknown correspondent who wished to hear Manson’s side of the story. On back of his last page is the original letter written to Manson with the correspondent’s name ripped off. The original envelope reads “Charles Manson - 833920 - P.O. Box 3456 Corcoran, CA 93212” stamped in red on the top left-hand corner. Adjacent below reads “STATE PRISON CORCORAN” also stamped in red. On the top right corner is a “USA 32” stamp in green. The postal stamp is indecipherable except for the year “1995”. The envelope is addressed to “Mark Strickland PO 1561 NAS LE Moore Ca 93245”. Also included is a photocopy of another long-winded Manson letter and interview. The original letter is in EX-NM condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
