“Rawlings” manufactured leather football. The ball reads “1964 ALL PRO GAME” painted in gold and black. Painted on each side of the laces is “WEST” and “EAST” in blue and white and red and white respectively. The ball has been signed by 37 members of the 1964 NFL East-West All-Pro teams. Notable signatures include Hall of Famers John Henry Johnson, Larry Wilson, Jim Brown, Frank Gifford and Bobby Mitchell. Additional signatures include: Lou Michaels, Ken Gray, Galen Fiss, Pete Retzlaff, Charley Johnson, Dick Lynch, Maxie Baughan, Dick Schafrath, Joe Rutgens, Joe Krupa, Myron Pottios, Vince Promuto, Lee Folkins, Clendon Thomas, Jim Katcavage, Bill Glass, Darrell Dess, Charlie Bradshaw, Sam Baker, Dale Meinert, John Morrow, Bob DeMarco, Terry Barr, Don Perkins, John LoVetere and Coach Allie Sherman. All signatures are done in the same black ink and in our opinion rate an 8 overall. The football is in NM condition. We were told by our consignor that this football was gifted by Ken Gray to a local resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa whom he was courting. The football ended up in her attic where it remained for over 40 years. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
