Russell Wilson has established himself as one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL after being drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He has led Seattle to a 36-12 record and has appeared in the playoffs in each of his first 3 seasons with a 6-2 postseason record. During the 2013 season, Wilson posted a 13-3 regular season record throwing for 3,357 yards with 26 touchdowns and 9 interceptions, earning Seattle home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Seattle would go on to win the Divisional Playoffs versus the Saints, the NFC Championship game versus the 49ers and eventually a 43-8 blowout victory in Super Bowl XLVIII over the Denver Broncos, capturing Seattle’s first Super Bowl victory in franchise history. “Riddell” manufactured helmet. Adjacent above the left ear hole is the player number “3” decal. Adjacent above each ear hole is a “WARNING” label. On the top left of the helmet is a sticker reading “INITIAL SEASON 2013”. Navy blue facemask with white chinstrap present. The white plastic bumper reads “Riddell” in navy blue, the two facemask clips both read “THICK” and “1” and “2” respectively. On the back of the helmet is the official “NFL” shield decal. An American flag and green “NFL” decal are both present. The backplate of the helmet reads “SEATTLE” in navy blue. The helmet is properly labeled, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use with clear evidence of saliva residue where Wilson keeps his mouth guard between plays. Accompanied by a LOA from Seattle Seahawks Equipment Manager, Erik Kennedy stating the helmet was used during 2013 mini-camp.
