John Riggins was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1992. He was the 1983 NFL MVP and won Super Bowl XVII with the Washington Redskins, where he earned the Super Bowl MVP. On the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a “100% NYLON” flag tag. Player number “44” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in white vinyl lettering with yellow trim. Across the back reads player name “RIGGINS” in white vinyl lettering on a burgundy mesh nameplate. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
