Cecil was a behemoth of a hitter with massive power, often challenging the boundaries of American League ballparks throughout his career. Amongst his accolades, Fielder was a three-time All-Star, 1996 World Series champion, Babe Ruth Award recipient, two-time Silver Slugger Award winner, and the league’s RBI leader in three consecutive seasons. More notably, in 1990 Fielder amassed 51 home runs and became the first right-handed American League hitter to reach 50 home runs since Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris in 1961. This trophy measures 13-3/4” x 7-5/8” x 7-5/8” and weighs 12.5 lbs. It features a transparent acrylic home plate-shaped pillar atop a white and brown marble-like base. A brass plate on top of the pillar reads “RBI Champion - American League” along with a depiction of a bat-swinging Hank Aaron in relief. A second brass plate attached to the base reads “The 1991 Hank Aaron Award - Presented by Major League baseball to - CECIL FIELDER - Detroit Tigers - 133 RBI”. The trophy is in overall VG-EX condition. This item will require additional shipping and handling charges due to its size and weight.
