This size 10, 10k gold ring weighs 37 grams. The ring was designed to be presented to President Bill Clinton but because the sales of the ring were a private venture he was unable to accept it. The top panel reads “MICKEY MANTLE 1951 1968” surrounding Mantle’s number “7” encrusted with six round-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.25-carats. The right panel features the casted image of Mantle’s signature, Yankee Stadium and “#7 RETIRED - 6•8•69”. The left panel reads “536 HOME RUNS” in relief above the casted image of five bats detailing Mantle’s career achievements: “HALL OF FAME 1974”, “TRIPLE CROWN 1956”, “.298 BA, 1509 R.B.I.”, “MVP 1956, 1957, 1962” and “18 WORLD SERIES H.R.” The inside of the ring is stamped “BALFOUR 10KT” and engraved to read “President Bill Clinton”. The ring comes with the original Balfour wooden presentation box that is engraved with Mantle’s signature, his number “7” and “CAREER RING”. The ring is in MINT condition and is accompanied by an additional LOA from the producer.
