“Rawlings” manufactured “OFFICIAL BALL 2000 WORLD SERIES” Selig baseball. Stamped on the west panel is the “2000 World Series” logo in gold. The ball has been signed by 24 members of the 2000 World Champion New York Yankees. Notable signatures include Hall of Fame Manager Joe Torre and future Hall of Famers Derek Jeter (2000 All-Star & World Series MVP) and Mariano Rivera (2000 All-Star). Additional signatures include: Chris Turner, Tino Martinez, Luis Sojo, Jorge Posada (2000 All-Star & Silver Slugger), Orlando Hernandez with the added inscription “26 - DUKE”, Clay Bellinger with the added inscription “35”, Andy Pettitte, Chuck Knoblauch, Mike Stanton, Ramiro Mendoza, Bernie Williams with the added inscription “SDG” (2000 All-Star & Gold Glove), Dwight “Doc” Gooden, Randy Choate, Denny Neagle, Scott Brosius, Jeff Nelson and Paul O’Neill. All signatures are done in two different shades of blue ink and in our opinion rate a strong 8 overall. The ball is in NM-MNT condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
