“Rawlings” manufactured OAL Budig baseball. On the east panel is “7/98” written in black ink. The ball has been signed by 23 members of the 1998 World Champion New York Yankees. Notable signatures include Hall of Fame Manager Joe Torre (1998 AL Manager of the Year) and future Hall of Famers Derek Jeter (ss)(1998 All-Star) and Mariano Rivera. Additional signatures include: Ricky Ledée, Orlando Hernandez with the added inscription “26 - DUKE”, Graeme Lloyd with the added inscription “27”, Luis Sojo, Andy Pettitte, Scott Brosius (1998 All-Star & World Series MVP), Joe Girardi, David Cone, Chuck Knoblauch, Ramiro Mendoza, Homer Bush with the added inscription “22”, Tim Raines, Tino Martinez, Bernie Williams with the added inscription “SDG” (1998 All-Star, Gold Glove & AL Batting Champion), Darryl Strawberry with the added inscription “39”, Hideki Irabu, Chad Curtis, Mike Stanton and Paul O’Neill. All signatures are done in two different shades of blue ink and in our opinion rate a strong 7 overall. The ball is in NM-MNT condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
