“Rawlings” manufactured OAL MacPhail baseball. The ball has been signed by 14 members of the 1978 World Champion New York Yankees. Notable signatures include Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson (1978 All-Star), Rich “Goose” Gossage (1978 All-Star, AL Saves Leader & AL Rolaids Relief Man of the Year) and Jim “Catfish” Hunter. Additional signatures include: Ron Guidry (1978 All-Star, AL Cy Young, AL Wins Leader & AL ERA Leader), Graig Nettles (1978 All-Star & Gold Glove), Mickey Klutts, Willie Randolph, Don Gullett, Roy White, George Zeber, Rawly Eastwick, Lou Pinella, Paul Blair and Jim Spencer. All signatures are done in the same black ink and in our opinion rate a strong 8 overall. The ball is in NM-MNT condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and an additional LOA from the Yankees bat boy.
