Contact marks can be seen on the right barrel from contact with other bats. Player number “44” is written on the knob and barrel end in black marker. The model number “A99” is stamped into the knob. The bat was originally obtained from Rick Napholz who was the assistant equipment manager for the Milwaukee Brewers during Aaron’s two-year stint with the team (1975-76).
