On the front left tail is the “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and flag tags reading size “50” and “100% POLYESTER” and another reading “+2” EXTRA LENGTH”. Across the front reads “BOSTON”. Across the back is the player name “RAMIREZ” on a grey nameplate. Adjacent below is the player number “24”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same scarlet red on navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Russell “R” embroidered in navy blue and red. On the right sleeve is the “WORLD SERIES 04” patch embroidered in black, white, sky blue, and blue on white tackle twill that has been attached to the jersey in a straight stitch, which was likely added after the fact. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in navy blue, scarlet red and white. Ramirez has signed the back of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “24”, in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
