Murray was one of baseball's most productive hitters from the late 1970s through the 1990s and is one of only three players to have totaled both 3,000 hits and 500 home runs. The all-time career RBI leader among switch-hitters and three-time Gold Glove Award winner was also an eight-time All-Star, and was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003. On the inner front left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “46”, wash instructions and flag tag “SET 1 1988”. Across the front reads “Orioles”. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “33”. Across the back is the player name “MURRAY” on a grey nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in the same orange on black tackle twill. On the right sleeve is “Rawlings” embroidered in white. The jersey is sans “EBW” patch and was worn prior to August 13, 1988. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
