On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with “SIZE 52”. On the outer left seam is a “COOL BASE” tag. On the left inseam are two tags, one with the year “2006” and another with “100% POLYESTER” and wash instructions. Across the front reads “GIANTS”. Across the back is the player number “18”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same black on orange on gold tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS BASEBALL CLUB” patch embroidered in black, white, orange and gold sparkle on off-white tackle twill. Adjacent below is the Majestic “M” embroidered in black. On the right sleeve is the “SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS 50” patch embroidered in black, white, gold and orange on white tackle twill. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in orange, black and white. Cain has signed the “1” on the back of the jersey in silver marker, in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This jersey is tagged as a 2006 (Cain’s rookie season), but the addition of the Giants 50th Anniversary patch leads us to believe it was used during the 2008 season and may have been a carryover from 2006 stock. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
