On the front left tail is the “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and four flag tags reading size “50” with “100% POLYESTER”, “+½ SLEEVE END”, “2” EXTRA LENGTH” and “TAPERED BODY”. Also stamped in black on the tag is “PURCHASED FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS”. Across the front reads “SAN FRANCISCO”. Across the back is the player name “ESTES” on a black nameplate. Adjacent below is the player number “55”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same black on orange on cream tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS” logo patch embroidered in orange, black, white and cream. Adjacent below is the Russell “R” embroidered in orange. Below the rear collar is a large American flag patch embroidered in red, white, blue and yellow commemorating the lives lost during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Estes has signed the “5” on the back of the jersey in silver marker with the added inscription “55”, in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
