On the inner front right tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “42”, wash instructions and flag tag “SET 2 #8P 1975”. Across the front reads “Cardinals” in red, navy blue and yellow chain-stitch embroidery. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “1”. Across the back is the player name “TEMPLETON”. All are done in the same scarlet red on navy blue tackle twill. The jersey has a team instituted name and number change. Originally issued to #9 Rudolph. Stripped and re-lettered for Templeton. On the left sleeve is the outline of the 1976 National League Centennial Patch. Templeton has signed the front of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “84”, in our opinion the signature rates an 8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
