Bench was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989 and is considered by many to be one of the greatest, if not greatest, catchers of all time. He was a 14-time All-Star, 10-time Gold Glove Catcher, 2-time World Series Champion, 2-time NL MVP and a World Series MVP. On the inner front left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “44”, wash instructions and flag tag “SET 1 1984”. On the left chest is the official “C REDS” logo in white chain-stitch embroidery on red tackle twill. Adjacent to the left and on back is the player number “5”. Across the back is the player name “BENCH”. All are done in the same red tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as team-issued.
