This 1977 World Series Championship trophy stands nearly 12” tall with a black wooden base that measures approximately 7” x 7” x 2-½”. Eric Lyons name is engraved on the front of the trophy. The trophy was manufactured by “Balfour” and weighs 6.25 lbs. The trophy features a gold-colored crown atop a circular centerpiece with a silver-colored baseball below surrounded by 26 gold flags, each with a team name enameled in black. The World Series press pins for both the Yankees and Dodgers are mounted on the base, each enameled in blue. A brass band surrounding the base has been engraved and enameled in black to read, “WORLD CHAMPIONS - NEW YORK YANKEES - 1977 - ERIC J. LYONS”. A Balfour manufacturers sticker is present underneath the base. The trophy is in NM-MINT condition and is accompanied by documentation from Lelands.
