One 30.5” x 24.5” framed poster features Champion Larry Holmes fighting in a pair of three-round exhibitions at Stouffer’s Inn On The Square on April 9, 1982. The poster reads “HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - OF THE WORLD - LARRY HOLMES - IN AN EXHIBITION - PLUS ALL STAR FIGHT CARD”. A photo of Holmes standing in a boxing stance is accompanied by three more photos of him training. Also includes a 30.5” x 24” poster for a December 7th night at the Sands Copa Club where Holmes would be appearing. “FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY - SANDS COPA CLUB - DECEMBER 7TH - FEATURING SPECIAL GUESTS - LARRY HOLMES - & MARMALADE”. There’s a photo of Holmes standing with the Marmalade dancers. Approximately 30” x 24” poster features Champion Larry Holmes vs Leon Spinks at Joe Louis Arena, for their fight on June 12, 1981. LEON SPINKS FORMER WORLD CHAMPION”. Two images of Larry Holmes and Leon Spinks are side by side with a distant image of Joe Louis. A 23” x 16” poster features Champion Larry Holmes vs Muhammad Ali at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas for their fight on October 2, 1980. Top of poster reads “THE LAST HURRAH - WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - LARRY HOLMES MUHAMMAD ALI”. Two images of Holmes and Ali are side by side with “15 ROUNDS” between them. The top left corner of the frame is not connected. We were told by our consignor that these pieces once hung on the wall at Holmes' house and bar. Oversized EVERLAST manufactured gold leather, left-handed glove weighs 3.5 pounds and measures approximately 23” x 12” x 8”. A silver shield with black lettering reads “EVERLAST - HALL OF FAME - EVERY CHAMPION IN THE HISTORY OF MODERN BOXING - HAS USED WORLD FAMOUS EVERLAST BOXING AND TRAINING EQUIPMENT”. Below is a list of 50+ world champions. Oversized JOE BOXER manufactured red leather, left-handed glove weighs 4 pounds and measures approximately 23” x 15” x 8”. Both gloves are in EX-condition. This six-inch, gold-painted key reads “CITY OF JACKSONVILLE - FLORIDA” on one side, and “TOMMY HAZOURI - MAYOR” on the other. The key is attached to a red, white and blue ribbon.
