This item had the honor of being displayed in the New York Football Giants Legacy Club. Mel Hein was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963. “Cartier” manufactured 10” tall sterling silver, vase-like trophy. Engraved on the trophy is “TO MEL - NEW YORK GIANTS - DECEMBER 1ST 1940”. Weighs 2.5 pounds. Accompanied by a 1” original pin that reads “CAPTAIN MEL HEIN” with a photo of Hein in the center. The underside of the trophy is stamped “STERLING 925-1000”. Trophy is in NM condition.
