John Havlicek won eight NBA Championships, half of them coming in his first four seasons. Havlicek was inducted as a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1984. Havlicek revolutionized the "sixth man" role, and has been immortalized for his clutch steal in the closing seconds of the 1965 Eastern Conference championship. Inside the button path is a "Sand-Knit" size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Player number “17” is written on it tag in black marker. Inside the rear collar is a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively For The BOSTON CELTICS”. Across the front is "CELTICS" in green on yellow tackle twill. On each sleeve is a "Celtics" logo in green on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is player name "HAVLICEK" in white tackle twill on a green tackle twill name plate. The “Massachusetts Bicentennial” patch has been removed from the lower right tail. This jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion shows outstanding wear.
